AT-RPS1000 Installation

Redundant Power

Supply Ports

The AT-RPS1000 has two AT-RPS1000 ports. Each port connects to a

different gigabit switch.

Figure 3 shows the rear view of a rack that has one gigabit switch

mounted above the AT-RPS1000 and one gigabit switch mounted below

AT-RPS1000. The upper switch is cabled to the upper AT-RPS1000 port;

the lower switch is cabled to the lower AT-RPS1000 port.

Note that the upper power socket on the AT-RPS1000 provides the AC

source for backup power for the upper switch; the lower power socket

provides the AC source for backup power for the lower switch.
