2. Installation - Single Server

2.1 Overview

In the single server (default) configuration, the AlliedView NMS software is loaded on one server, which pro-

vides both Back End (BE) and Front End (FE) functionality.

Note: Anonymous FTP is used by the NMS to manage certain devices, and therefore must be

enabled on the server. Refer to Appendix A for instructions.
